We are very happy to announce that we now have a new Buyers Referral Program in place to compliment our Image Submitters Referral System.

If you refer Image Buyers, you will receive a referral fee for every image they buy from the PicoLib Image Bank… for as long as they remain registered buyers of PicoLib.

Your referral fee is R0.35 per image. That means if you refer 1000 buyers and each buyer purchases only 10 images per month (for their website, advertising, newsletters or their own clients) your income from their work is over R3500.00pm!

Your referral fees will be calculated and you will be notified on a monthly basis. Payout of your referral fees will be handled on request if your balance is in excess of R250.00

To be able to get the referral fee, you need to be registered as an Image Submitter (fill in your details here) and you need to apply for the Referral Program by sending an e-mail to: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it stating the following:

• Name and Surname
• Registered Username
• Company Name
• Website address

You also need to send us a Logo of your company (not more than 180px wide) on a white background.

You may use any of our banners to advertise this service to your clients. The banners can be found here.

Once we have all your details, we will set up your gateway page, similar to this one and we will send you the correct link for your personalised referral page. From there you can activate your advertising and referral program on your site.

You may advertise:

• On your own Website
• In your e-mail Signature
• In Forum footers (if allowed by forum administrators)
• Through your own newsletters

You may not:

• Spam clients via unsolicited E-mail or Forum Posts
• Repost links on places like Craig’s List

But… What would convince a buyer to sign up through your links?

When potential buyer signs up through one of the member pages (pages with links only from that particular site) they get a promotional voucher that will entitle them to a 5% discount on all image sales for a three month period. If they sign up any other way, they will lose their 5% discount.

We have found that this system works better than tracking cookies. Many firewalls and other internet protection services render these cookies useless.
