Within the Picolib websites we run a sliding scale on earnings from royalties, starting at 25% and going all the way to 37%
We feel that if your images are good enough to sell a lot of, then we should reward you for improving your skills and the general quality of the images available through the PicoLib Websites.
To this end we have created the sliding scale of earnings: | Up to 500 DL’s = | 25% | | 500 – 1,000 DL’s = | 28% | | 1,000 – 5,000 DL’s = | 31% | 5,0000 – 20,0000 DL’s =
| 34% | | 20,000 – 50,0000 DL’s = | 37% |
What does this mean for you as an Image Submitter? Basically:
At 25%:
On a 5-6mp sale: R7.00 per download
On a 10-12mp Sale: R14.00 per download
On an Extended Licence Sale: R60.00
At 31%:
On a 5-6mp sale: R8.68 per download
On a 10-12mp Sale: R17.36 per download
On an Extended Licence Sale: R74.40
And at 37%:
On a 5-6mp sale: R10.36 per download
On a 10-12mp Sale: R20.72 per download
On an Extended Licence Sale: R88.00
Referral Royalties:
We have also now opened up referral royalties. That means that you earn money every time your referred image submitters sells an image as well. The current referral fee is R0.45 per sub-10mp download, R0.90 for downloads of images 10mp and higher, and R6.00 for an extended licence sale
