The PicoLib Image Bank is a South African based Image Bank that aims to supply High Quality, High Resolution, Royalty Free Stock Images from local and international image creators to the general market.
We have found that the general graphic designers market and advertising agencies in South Africa still believe that good quality imaging is expensive, and to that extent will in many cases not buy images, but rather “obtain” them in other ways like shooting a few shots with a point and shoot camera, stretching low-res images beyond their usable limits, scanning low quality images supplied by the client, etc, etc.
By becoming a supplier of Low Cost but High Quality, Usable, Royalty Free imaging, we want to change the perception of the design markets that “...stock imaging is expensive…” and “…stock imaging is low quality…”
